We're not a national chain or a glossy sales operation routing your enquiry to a subcontractor. We're a small family-run team of qualified engineers, based in London, doing one job properly: installing, repairing and servicing stairlifts.
Stairlift Installers London was started in 2009 by engineers who'd previously worked for the big national stairlift companies and wanted to do things differently — fewer salespeople, more honesty, fixed pricing, and a phone that's answered by someone who knows what a Handicare swivel-seat micro-switch actually is.
Since then we've installed, serviced and repaired stairlifts across every London borough. Some of our work is brand-new bespoke curved rails for substantial period homes in Westminster and Kensington. A lot of it is reconditioned units fitted in family homes in Croydon, Bromley and Newham — affordable solutions that get someone safely up their own stairs again.

Every quote is given by the engineer who would actually fit the lift. No commission, no upsell pressure, no quotas to hit.
The price you're quoted is the price you pay. Survey, installation, removal of any old lift and warranty — all included.
We're in London, not 200 miles away. Same-day response across every borough for repairs and emergencies.
We fit Stannah, Acorn, Handicare, Brooks and Bruno. We'll recommend whichever's right for you — not the one with the biggest margin.
When you buy from us, the same engineer who fitted your lift comes back to service it. No subcontracting.
77 verified Google reviews from London families. We take the same care of your parent or partner as we would our own.
The staircases in a Camden Victorian terrace are different from a 1930s semi in Sutton. We've fitted lifts in third-floor mansion flats in Westminster (no, you can't always use the communal lift) and in basement conversions in Hackney. We know which boroughs have parking restrictions that affect installation day, and we plan around them.
A stairlift isn't a one-off purchase — it lives in your home for years and eventually needs servicing, batteries replacing, sometimes a repair. When you buy from us, the same engineer who fitted it comes back to look after it.

Our installers are qualified mechanical and electrical engineers with manufacturer training on every major brand we install. They carry common parts on every van. They wear shoe covers in your home. They take the time to demonstrate the lift to whoever's going to use it, however many times that takes — and they don't leave until you're confident operating it on your own.
We deal almost exclusively with older customers, family caregivers and people whose mobility has changed — often suddenly, often around a hospital discharge. That's a sensitive situation, and we treat it like one.

Real reviews from London families who've trusted us with their stairlift installation, repair or servicing.
"Came out the same day Mum's lift broke down — diagnosed the battery in five minutes and had a new one fitted the same afternoon. Genuinely helpful from the first phone call. Would absolutely recommend."
"From the home survey to the final handover the whole team were professional and patient. They walked Dad through the controls three times until he was confident. The curved rail is beautifully made and the install was spotless."
"We chose the reconditioned option because of the price and we honestly cannot tell it isn't brand new. Saved nearly £1,500 versus the quote from the original manufacturer. Engineer was lovely with my mother and explained everything."
Same-day response across every borough. No salespeople — just qualified engineers who fit stairlifts for a living.
